3 highlights from our 2024-2025 year!
Every connection made, every space improved, and every student empowered by our services and supports keeps our goal of enhancing the SheridanLife momentum. Together, we’ll continue moving forward and making an even greater impact. Here are a few ways we continued to keep the effort.
COCA 2025
After two years of dedicated planning and unwavering commitment, the Sheridan Student Union (SSU) proudly hosted the 2025 COCA National Conference, a weeklong celebration of innovation, collaboration, and student life excellence. This milestone event brought together Student Union and Association leaders from across Canada, all united by a shared mission: to elevate the student experience on their campuses.
2024 Clubs Fair
“My favourite memory from the past year would be the 2024 fall clubs fair! We had so many clubs embrace the halloween/fall vibes and come in costume on theme across all campuses to showcase their club to the Sheridan community and engage with students. Our student club community has grown so much over the past 50 years, and especially in the past decade, and it is truly amazing to see all of the clubs come out and engage in these type of events with students each year.”
Cycle Celebration Week
“One of my favourite moments was hosting our very first Cycle Celebration Week. It was a weeklong event dedicated to raising awareness about menstruation, breaking down stigma, and opening up honest conversations about menstrual health. Seeing students engage so openly—whether through learning about products, sharing their experiences, or simply supporting one another—was truly inspiring.”
